São João'. It is an ideal holiday home with
spectacular views over the ocean, the woods and the hills of São
João, near Fajã da Ovelha, a village in the municipality of Calheta
in the sunniest part of the island. The stunningly restored typical
Madeiran house is for rent throughout the year.
When we first found the house, it was
inhabitable and in a sorry state. We have lovingly restored it into
what it is now: a light and comfortable home, with old elements but
