Payments from within the European Union, Switzerland,Iceland and Norway can only be done by bank transfer using the IBAN numbers. These are the countries to which the SEPA agreements about banking apply.
Payments from outside the SEPA-zone can only be done by PayPal. Banks charge rediculous fees for transfers from these countries. To compensate for the extra costs, we have to charge you with a small surcharge of 3,4% .
Pending Brexit we do not know yet if the IBAN payments will continue to be possible from the UK. If so, we will coinue to use this method for UK clients. If not, we will have to revert to Paypal for UK bookings. However, we assume that the UK will remain in the SEPA zone.
As we have experienced various attempts of money laundering and fraud using cheques, we no longer accept this method of payment.
